Ivan Dixon, also known as Ivan Nathaniel Dixon III was an Actor. His beloved wife Berlie Ray Dixon also passed away at the age of 88 on February 9, 2019, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Among the honors he received were four NAACP Image Awards, the National Black Theatre Award, and the Paul Robeson Pioneer Award from the Black American Cinema Society. After Berlie Ray Dixon graduated, as a Rockefeller Scholar, she decided to further her education in theatre and so moved to Cleveland, Ohio to study theatre at Western Reserve University.
